Affluent New England travelers now have an easier route to Europe.
On July 1, Bradley International Airport had its first-ever transatlantic flight. The flight, via Northwest Airlines, took off from Bradley at 5:22pm and arrived at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam an hour early.
Previously, travelers throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York State could only travel to Europe by leaving from larger New York and Boston airports. But now, business and leisure travelers alike can count on an easier drive to the airport and a less harried travel experience when they get there.
Passengers are able to connect to over 81 cities throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India – perfect for New Englanders who wish to explore or have business to conduct in the more remote parts of the world.
Xpresso PR, Mascola Group’s public relations branch, helped Bradley get the word out with a gala event the day of the inaugural flight.
