Mascola gives back to community for the Holidays:
Ad agency supports New Haven, CT non-profit

After noticing an article in the New York Times, Mascola Group Chairman, Chuck Mascola was inspired to give back to a local, worthwhile cause. Mascola, and the team at the Mascola Group rallied together and collected baby diapers and wipes to donate to the New Haven Diaper Bank this holiday season.
The New Haven Diaper Bank was established in 2004 by former social worker, Joanne Goldblum to help provide diapers to as many needy children in New Haven as possible. The non-profit organization helps those who otherwise cannot afford diapers for their children, a basic necessity for a child to live a comfortable, healthy life.
Remarkably, in just two days the agency collected over three thousand diapers and transported them to the Diaper Bank warehouse in West Haven. The day the agency staff arrived at the warehouse, the staff at the Diaper Bank was in the middle of a crisis of their own--the frigid weather had resulted in a burst pipe and water was flooding the building.
"It was just a little ironic that a leaking pipe was flooding the diaper bank, but we were able to find a dry room to stash the newly arriving diapers in" said Chuck Mascola. "After offering to help with the leak, we suggested that they could use some of the diapers to contain the water, but the Diaper Bank staff felt that there was a much better use for our contribution."
Simply called “The Diaper Bank”, the New Haven-based organization will soon expand its helping hands into the cities of Hartford and Bridgeport, CT in February of 2008.
