Mascola Group gets into the Holiday Spirit by Cooking up a storm.

The men and women of Mascola Group were treated to creative and tasty dishes prepared by none other than themselves at the Mascola Group annual Christmas party held December 20, 2007 at the home of Chef Silvia Bianco in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Chef Silvia, founder and executive chef of the award–winning restaurant “Biscotti” formally in Ridgefield, now teaches cooking classes to individuals, groups, and corporations out of her home kitchen. The company split up into 5 different groups, each creating a different course for the feast.

The first course was an appetizer of Pine Nut Crusted, Sautéed Fresh Mozzarella, followed by a fresh garden salad. Next, there was a pasta dish of Hand Rolled Lasagna with a Béchamel sauce, followed by the main dish of Battered Tilapia Fish accompanied by mashed potatoes. The meal was finished with a desert of Profiteroles with chocolate sauce. Each course was served with wine and beer.

To further the holiday spirit the group exchanged gifts with one another. The best gift of the night had to be Vin DiGioia’s gift to Caffeine President Bill Mulligan, an “I (heart) Sanjaya” t-shirt from Fox’s American Idol.
The event was a great time for the entire Mascola Group team, and was a memorable experience for everyone.
